Publishers and brands have been experimenting with Google+ Hangouts since it’s launch two years ago. Everyone from Tyra Banks to David Beckham have hosted Hangouts for their fans.
With Google’s help, publishers can now monetize their Hangouts. Today, Glamour Magazine is launching a series of Hangouts, hosted by editors and free lancers and sponsored by beauty brands.
Bill Wackermann, Glamour’s publisher, told Mashable that this new series is the perfect way to put their advertisers’ products in front of a large audience in an engaging way.
